What we do for Tone Green and what it costs
The eight core services below each have a page for Tone Green; specialist and advisory services are delivered nationally and are listed further down. Every fee is fixed and confirmed in writing before work starts.
Why IGI
Working with Tone Green businesses
We built the service around what business owners in places like Tone Green actually complain about: not knowing what the accountant will charge, finding out about a deadline after it has passed, and receiving a set of accounts with no explanation. Each is fixed by design: fixed fees, deadline tracking shown on every page, and a plain-English summary with every draft for Tone Green clients.
The price for self assessment tax returns is published on this page and is what a client in Tone Green pays. We confirm it in writing first, and the invoice matches the quote.
Deadline-first: the dates that matter for self assessment tax returns are shown at the top of this page, diarised for every Tone Green client and chased before they arrive.
No appointments, no travel across West Midlands, no parking. Everything for self assessment tax returns in Tone Green happens online, with a real person on the other end during UK working hours.

Worth knowing
Rules that affect most businesses here
Switching accountants
You can switch accountant at any point in the year. The new firm requests clearance and your records from the old one, which cannot withhold your own documents though it may hold its own working papers until its fees are settled. Agent authorisations with HMRC and Companies House are transferred, and the next deadline is picked up without a gap.
Closing a company
Voluntary strike-off is available only to solvent companies. One that owes money it cannot pay needs a creditors' voluntary liquidation through a licensed insolvency practitioner, and directors who dissolve an insolvent company face personal consequences. For a solvent company the process takes three to four months from filing the DS01, with notice to creditors and shareholders within seven days.
Confirmation statements and identity verification
Every company must file a confirmation statement at least once a year, within fourteen days of its review date, with a £50 Companies House fee. Since November 2025 directors and people with significant control must also verify their identity with Companies House, and the confirmation statement is where existing officers confirm they have done so during the transition year.
CIS deductions
The Construction Industry Scheme affects both sides of a construction payment. Contractors must verify subcontractors, deduct the right amount, issue statements and file monthly, with penalties from £100 for each late return. Subcontractors suffer deductions on turnover and recover the excess at the year end. Limited company subcontractors offset deductions against PAYE monthly instead.
Late filing penalties
Lateness is expensive in a way that compounds. For individuals, £100 immediately, then daily penalties, then percentage-based ones at six and twelve months, with interest running on unpaid tax throughout. For companies, Companies House penalties scale with delay and double on repeat, and HMRC adds its own for a late CT600. Filing on time is the cheapest tax planning there is.
Questions
Questions from Tone Green
Which services are available in Tone Green?
Every service on this page is available to businesses and individuals in Tone Green, at the fee shown. Core compliance work, accounts, tax returns, bookkeeping, VAT, payroll and company formation, is listed with its own local page. Specialist services such as R&D, crypto tax and HMRC enquiry support are national services delivered the same way from anywhere in the UK.
Why are the fees the same in Tone Green as in London?
Because the cost of an accountant is mostly premises and that is a cost we do not have. The work is done online by UK-based staff, so a client in Tone Green pays exactly the published fee, as does a client in central London or a Highland village. The fee is confirmed in writing before anything starts.
Can you deal with HMRC and Companies House for me?
Yes. Once you authorise us as your agent, HMRC and Companies House correspond with us about the filings we make for your Tone Green business, and we can see your accounts and respond on your behalf. Authorisation is free and takes a few days to activate. Routine correspondence about work we have filed is handled at no extra charge.
I already have an accountant in Tone Green. How hard is it to switch?
It takes about two weeks and costs nothing extra. You authorise us, we write to your current accountant for professional clearance and your records, and we transfer the agent authorisations. We pick up the next filing without a gap. You do not need to wait for a year end, and we tell you honestly if switching mid-job would be awkward.
Do you have an office in Tone Green?
No. IGI Accounting is an online-only firm. We serve Tone Green and every other UK postcode remotely, with records sent by WhatsApp or email and everything filed electronically. The absence of local premises is why the fee for self assessment tax returns is the same in Tone Green as anywhere else in the country, and why there is nothing to visit and nothing to print.
Is self assessment tax returns in Tone Green really the same price as elsewhere?
Yes. The fee published on this page is what a client in Tone Green pays and what a client in any other part of England pays. It is confirmed in writing before work starts and the invoice matches the quote. Where a higher package applies because your situation is more complex, we say so at the quote stage, never afterwards.
