Summary

igiaccounting.co.uk does not set tracking cookies, advertising cookies or analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any similar service. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

What this site stores in your browser

Nothing that identifies you. The site is a set of pages served by our own server. It does not set cookies of its own, does not use local storage to track you and does not fingerprint your device. If you use one of our free calculators, the figures you type are processed in your browser and are not sent to us or stored anywhere.

Third-party resources

Each page loads two web fonts, Outfit and Inter, from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those font files, Google receives your IP address and the usual request details, as it does for any resource loaded from its servers. Google's handling of that data is described in its privacy policy. We load the fonts in a way that does not block the page and we do not pass any information about you to Google beyond what the font request itself contains. If you prefer, your browser's settings or a content blocker can prevent the font request, and the site will display in your system font instead.

The company-name checker on our tools page sends the name you type to our own server, which forwards it to the Companies House public search service and returns the results. The search term is not stored and no cookie is set.

Links to WhatsApp open the WhatsApp application or website operated by Meta, which has its own cookie and privacy practices. Nothing is sent to WhatsApp until you choose to open the link.

Server logs

Our web server keeps standard access logs recording the IP address, requested page, time, browser type and referring page for each request, for the purpose of security monitoring, capacity planning and diagnosing faults. These logs are kept for 30 days and are not used to build profiles or to identify individuals except where needed to investigate abuse of the service.

Managing cookies generally

Because we set none, there is nothing to manage on this site. Your browser's settings allow you to block or delete cookies from any site, and most browsers offer a private or incognito mode that discards cookies when the window is closed. Guidance for the common browsers is published by their makers and by the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we ever introduce cookies that require consent, for example to measure how the site is used, this page will be updated first and a consent mechanism added before any such cookie is set. The date at the top shows the current version.
