Company formation and Companies House filings
Form a company from £49, file confirmation statements, change directors, names and addresses, register for VAT, PAYE and CIS, or close a company.
Companies House filings are national: the same forms, fees and deadlines apply whether the company is in Aberdeen or Plymouth, which is why these services have a single UK page rather than local versions. They are also the filings most often done late or wrongly by directors doing them alone, and since the identity-verification rules took effect in November 2025 the consequences of errors have grown.
Our fee for each filing is fixed and shown alongside the Companies House fee, which you pay separately and which we never mark up: £100 to incorporate online, £50 for a confirmation statement, £20 for a name change and £13 for a voluntary strike-off, as published by Companies House on 25 September 2026. If a filing carries no Companies House fee, we say so.
Formation packages go further than the bare incorporation: HMRC registrations for Corporation Tax and PAYE, a registered office address if you do not want your home on the public register, and the first year's filings bundled so the confirmation statement and accounts are not forgotten. For companies at the other end of their life we handle dormancy and strike-off, including the final accounts and tax return HMRC expects.

Questions
Questions about company formation & filings
Why do you show the Companies House fee separately?
Because it is not our fee and we do not want to hide it inside ours. Companies House charges the company directly; our fixed fee is for preparing, checking and submitting the filing and dealing with any rejection. The total you pay is always the two added together, stated on your quote.
How quickly is a company formed?
Most online incorporations are approved by Companies House within 24 hours of submission, often the same working day. We need the proposed name, registered office, at least one director and shareholder with identity details, and the share structure. Name checks are free using our tool.
Do I need identity verification to be a director?
Yes. Since 18 November 2025 new directors and people with significant control must verify their identity with Companies House, and existing ones do so at their next confirmation statement during the transition year. Verification is done through GOV.UK One Login or an authorised agent, and we explain the steps as part of any formation or director change.
